Our Easter Church Service

Jesus said, ‘I am the Good Shepherd… I know my sheep and my sheep know me.’ John 10.14

Please note, this is a date change from the details printed in the most recent Bayford Bugle newsletter.

Everybody is welcome to join us for our Easter church service which will now take place on Wednesday 30th March at 2.30 pm in St. Mary’s Church, Bayford.

Can you help us?

As usual, children will be walked from school through the village to the church. It’s always a great help if volunteers (parents or other adults known to us) can join staff in guiding the ‘crocodile’! If you’d like to offer help, please let Jan Sims, in the school office, know and she can make sure the class teachers are expecting you on the day.

Collecting children from church

The service is expected to finish at 3.15 pm, so if you won’t be attending yourself and you usually collect your child from school, collection will be from the church instead. We’ve already arranged for children who usually go home on the school bus to be collected from the church, so there’s no need for you to make separate arrangements, unless you’d like to. Please remember to inform the bus company if your child won’t need to go home on the bus that day and, of course, don’t forget to tell your child!

End of term

End of term is Friday 1st April and children will be finishing at the earlier time of 1.30 pm (Nursery children will finish at their normal time). Children return to school for the summer term on Tuesday 19th April.
