Welcome to Class 2. Here you will find useful information about what we will be learning about this half term. As the term progresses we will put up some photographs and examples of work, so please check back later.
Class 2's English curriculum can also be downloaded here. Once again, this is a guide to aid our planning and can also change when necessary.
Homework is an essential part of learning. It gives children the opportunity to practise and refine skills that they have learnt in school. It is vital that homework is completed. We would ask that you continue to support your child, and encourage them to ask for help or clarification from teaching staff if needed.
Homework is set once a week on a Friday and is due in on the following Friday.
Spellings are sent home once a week on a Friday (in homework books) and are tested on the following Friday.
Children will be told which times table(s) they are working on and these will be tested on a Friday. Copies of the times tables tests we use can be downloaded here.
It is also important that your child reads daily at home for at least 10 minutes.
